Hello
Welcome to Amygdala Mediation, where our mission is to foster communication, understanding, and positive outcomes for individuals and families navigating conflict.
My Story
Founded by Lindsey, a behavioral therapist and mediator, Amygdala Mediation brings a unique blend of neuroscience and psychology expertise to the mediation process. Lindsey holds a degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Health Research. Her extensive background includes studying the neurological impacts of childhood behaviors, such as anxiety, ADHD, and aggression, as well as mapping brain function as part of the Human Connectome Project.
With specialized training in parent-child communication therapy and a strong foundation in psychology coupled with neuroscience, Lindsey approaches mediation with deep insight into how our thoughts and relationships shape our experiences. This understanding, combined with her recent comprehensive mediation training, allows her to guide clients toward lasting solutions grounded in empathy and effective communication.
At Amygdala Mediation, we are dedicated to empowering clients to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity. Whether addressing family dynamics or interpersonal disputes, Lindsey leverages her expertise in communication therapy and behavioral health to help clients achieve resolutions that foster harmony and mutual respect.
